Five Years and Rising: A Celebration of Stand UP KC
Recently Stand Up KC celebrated it's five year anniversary. Stand Up KC is a part of the national Fight for Fifteen movement working to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour and for union rights. Stand Up KC is made up of low wage workers in my occupations. In this celebration they celebrated workers, organizers, and allies in the movement. Of course there was also music.
