Interview with Hembree
Hembree has had an epic year. So far in 2018 they have had music land on an MTV show, in an Apple commercial that aired on the Super Bowl, and the song "Continents" landed on Kitsuné America 5, the NBA Edition. "Holy Water" has played over one million times on Spotify. They were names on of NPR/VuHaus 20 artists to watch in 2018. Down at SXSW they were interviewed by Amazon, made it on the NPR 100 artists to watch at SXSW, and Rolling Stone 30 best artists we saw at the Austin Throwdown. They have played multiple festivals this year. Next month their of to Europe, and they're recording their first LP. These five guys are unstoppable. Kimmy sat down with Eric, Alex, Austin, and Isaac right before they played the Crossroads Music Festival to learn more about what makes them tic. In this interview they discussed Halloween costumes, their music DNA, did some reflecting on this year and more.
